Clear Shade Creek is a fast moving waterway featuring stretches of Class I-III
rapids. Portions flow through scenic Gallitzin State Forest. The creek is also home
to wild brown & brook trout, as well as stocked fish.

Access
- There is water access at Crumb Road where Cub Run and Clear Creek intersect.
- There is a take out at the confluence of Clear Shade and Dark Shade. Follow Rt 160 from Windber to the bridge at Clear Shade.
