The 24 trails of the Allegrippis Trail system provide year-round access to the woods, ridges and mountains of The Alleghenies for hikers, bikers, trail runners, snowshoers and cross-country skiers. The trails are arranged as a series of stacked loops, allowing hikers the chance to create the route that best fits their abilities and timeframe. Moderate trails in the Allegrippis Trail network include Barrel, Bay, Shade, Stony, Allie, Red Legs, Grippis, Berry Patch, Loco-Motive, Ridge, Osprey, Eagle, Sleek Dog, Switch, and Dirt Surfer. These trails - designated by their blue color code - feature challenging climbs and long downhills that lead to the shores of scenic Raystown Lake.
