The 24 trails of the Allegrippis Trail system provide year-round access to the woods, ridges and mountains of The Alleghenies for hikers, bikers, trail runners, snowshoers and cross-country skiers. The trails are arranged as a series of stacked loops, allowing hikers the chance to create the route that best fits their abilities and timeframe. Challenging trails in the Allegrippis Trail network include Allegheny, Ray's Revenge, Sidewinder and Hydro Loop. These trails - designated by their black color code - feature challenging climbs, long downhills that wind from high scenic vistas to the shores of Raystown Lake.
