Moshannon State Forest Challenging Loop
Extremely rocky terrain and several steep sections make this fairly long dayhike over a portion of the Allegheny Front Trail a challenge for hikers of all levels. Starting as a grassy double track downhill trail, the route soon winds its way to Rock City before climbing to several scenic overlooks where hikers can enjoy views across the rolling landscape of The Alleghenies.
