Stone Valley Vista Loop
This trail borderlines on challenging as it rises and falls through an area once better known for logging than abundant wildlife. Today the loggers are long gone and wildlife viewers are free to roam and search for white-tailed deer, black bear, wild turkey, ruffed grouse and the many species of small game that call this region home. Around the shores of Greenwood Lake, duck, great blue heron and the occasional osprey can be seen as well. And the unique song of the whip-poor-will can be heard in the early evening hours of May and June.
