A popular cross-country ski destination in the winter, the double track trails that pass through this region make for excellent hiking in warmer months. Along the way, hikers enjoy walks through mountain laurel as they pass through areas abundant with deer, grouse, songbirds and other mountain top wildlife. This trail includes a few easy-to-navigate short rocky sections where hiking boots are recommended for support and traction.
