Moore's Hill Trail Loop
This moderate stream side loop hike explores a mix of nature and history as it winds through wooded hillsides on its way to the remains of the historic Blair Limestone Company kiln and Hartman kiln. Throughout the early 1900s, these two important kilns helped turn raw limestone into pure lime that fueled area steel mills, as well as a usable product for making paper, glass and refining sugar. Along the way, interpretive signs help tell the story of the region.
