Limestone Trail Loop

A nice mix of single and double track footpaths take hikers into an area rich in natural beauty and historic significance. Along the way, the stream side trail winds past kilns and a limestone quarry as interpretive signs tell the stories of this remarkable region. This hike can be extended by continuing north to the third bridge after the accessible parking area and returning on the other side of the creek on Limestone Trail. This additional spur passes the remnants of the historic Blair Limestone Company kiln which operated throughout the early 1900s.
