Pike-to-Bike Trail

Following an abandoned portion of what was once America's first limited access superhighway, this multi-use trail travels east from Breezewood along a former section of the PA Turnpike. The route passes through two significant tunnels where headlamps are suggested for lighting the way. The trail can be done in an out-and-back fashion or as an end-to-end hike by parking a shuttle car at each trailhead.
