Seneca Trail Loop

This short and easy route takes hikers on a trek through a natural bog area on elevated boardwalks with views of Black Moshannon Lake. Along the way, interpretive panels reveal what makes bogs a unique and valuable part of our environment. In addition to the opportunities to explore a natural bog up close and discover all three types of the carnivorous plants found in Pennsylvania, wildlife viewers can enjoy birding in this thriving wetland habitat that has been named an Important Birding Area by the Audubon Society.
