Bog Trail Loop
This easy hike winds through a bog wetland over elevated boardwalks offering hikers views of Black Moshannon Lake and an up-close opportunity to examine a natural bog - complete with all three types of the carnivorous plants found in Pennsylvania. Along the way, interpretive panels reveal the types of things that make bogs a unique and valuable resource. For wildlife viewers, these wetlands create an important and thriving habitat that has been named an Important Birding Area by the Audobon Society.
