Butterfly Trail Loop
Originally created for the conservation of butterflies, this quiet trail takes hikers on an easy trek around a scenic pond where a mix of grasses, wildflowers, shurbs and young trees provide nectar for butterflies throughout their lifecycle. In addition to the opportunites to view numerous butterflies and birds, hikers will also find an interpretive area that provides information and examples of butterfly habitat components. In September, migrating Monarchs can be found drinking the nectar of the abundant goldenrod found throughout the area.
